PALLMANN PALL-X NOW is a one-component, ready-to-use waterborne finish for residential wood floors. It goes on milky, dries clear and does not amber. It is sold by the gallon, here in satin and matte.

How to use
- Pallmann recommends a three-coat system: one coat of Pallmann waterborne sealer, such as Pallmann X-Clear, then two coats of finish. A third finish coat is advised for heavy traffic areas.
- If the floor is stained, let the stain dry fully first.
- Shake the container hard for one minute. Do not thin it or add water.
- Apply with a T-bar, cut-in pad, Pallmann waterborne roller or brush, holding 450–500 sq ft per gallon. Do not apply it thin or overwork it.
- Recoat without abrading if less than 24 hours have passed. After 24 hours, abrade with 120–180 grit and no finer.
Dry and cure times
- Between coats: about 2–3 hours
- Light foot traffic: after 24 hours
- Full cure: about 7 days. Do not use cleaner on the floor during that time.
