WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier is a single component product and therefore ready for immediate use. No mixing or special tool required. Mixing errors are fully ruled out. After use, the container can be simply sealed again and stored for the next use.

Install flooring 40-50 minutes after application of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier even under difficult construction site conditions. No other method is as fast.

BLOCKS MOISTURE RELIABLE AND FAST

No moisture test required: Two coats of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier will block 100% rH with no moisture testing required when the following conditions are met: The concrete must be surface dry, at least 28 days old, and must have an intact waterproofing vapor membrane beneath the slab.

In the case that the above mentioned site conditions are not met, the following rules apply for the installation of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier:

One coat of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier blocks up to 12 lbs/ 1000 sq.ft./ 24 hrs (CaCl Test Method) or up to 90% rH (in situ Test Method).

Two coats of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier blocks up to 18 lbs/ 1000 sq.ft./ 24 hrs (CaCl Test Method) or up to 98% rH (in situ Test Method).

Two coats of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier blocks also up to 6 lbs/ 1000 sq.ft./ 24 hrs (CaCl Test Method) or up to 85% rH (in situ Test method) over radiant heat.

Flooring can be installed just 40-50 minutes after the last application of WAKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier. No waiting required. Ask your Wakol representative for more details.

AKOL PU 280 Moisture Barrier penetrates the concrete and solidifiies weak concrete subfloors and strengthens them from within. It doesn’t get any easier.
