WAKOL MS 262 is a firm-flexible, one-component wood flooring adhesive engineered for professional installation of solid hardwood and engineered flooring up to 8" width. This moisture-controlling modified silane formula bonds reliably on North American species with no width limitations. Key advantages include zero VOC content, solvent-free and water-free composition, and compatibility with WAKOL moisture barriers for high-humidity applications up to 100% RH. The adhesive offers approximately 40 minutes of open time, allowing proper positioning before curing. Light foot traffic is possible after 6–8 hours; full traffic after 24–48 hours depending on site conditions. Coverage reaches 30 sq.ft. per 20 oz. tube using S-pattern application or 13 sq.ft. when applied to WAKOL sound-dampening mat cutouts. Application is straightforward with WAKOL applicators, and cleanup is simple—uncured adhesive wipes away easily with WAKOL RT 5960 Cleaning Towels, while cured residue removes manually. Ideal working conditions are 60–75°F and 40–75% relative humidity. MS-polymer base delivers high bond strength with minimal application effort and no airing time required. EC1 PLUS certified for low emissions.
