Sanding Machines
Professional hardwood floor drum sanders, edge sanders, and floor sanding machines for refinishing and new installation projects. Bailey Flooring Supplies carries commercial-grade sanding equipment from Bona, Pallmann, and other leading manufacturers — the same machines used by professional flooring contractors.
Types of Floor Sanding Equipment
- Drum sanders — the workhorse of floor refinishing. Used for the main body of the floor on the first and second sanding passes. Aggressive material removal on rough or heavily coated floors.
- Edge sanders (edgers) — disc sanders for sanding along walls and in corners that drum sanders can't reach. Used on every refinishing project.
- Orbital floor sanders — random orbital action for final screening passes before finish. Reduces the risk of cross-grain scratches versus drum sanding.
- Multi-disc sanders — used for finishing passes, abrading between coats, and working with pre-finished or delicate floors.
Abrasives for Floor Sanding
The right machine is only half the equation — matching the correct grit sequence and abrasive type to your floor is critical. We stock sanding belts, discs, sheets, and screens in every grit from 16 to 220. See our full sandpaper and abrasives collection for the complete selection.
